Birthday Gifts

As I mentioned in a previous post it was my birthday this month and that I would share the fashion related gifts I got.  I also forgot to share my 2 year anniversary gifts from my boyfriend!  His were the first two long sleeved shirts as well as the Elephant necklace and a blazer that I could not find the picture for.  He gave me the polka dot button up for my birthday, he always picks out the nicest things!  The rest I picked out with my mom, and I am very pleased about the dress as my boyfriend had wanted to buy it for me when it was at $180 and I thought that was way too expensive, well this weekend my mom and I got it on sale for around $70!  And the third striped shirt her and I got for around $11 instead of the original $45!  I was very pleased with our deals.  Anyways, there are all of my new clothes!  I am very excited to have a few new things to make new outfits with!

Comme je le disais dans un précédent postque c'était mon anniversaire ce mois-ci et que je voudrais partager les dons de mode connexes que j'ai eu. J'ai aussi oublié de partager mes 2 cadeaux anniversaire de mon petit ami! Son furent les deux premiers chemises à manches longues ainsi que le collier éléphant et un blazer que je ne pouvais pas trouver la photo pour. Il m'a donné le bouton à pois pour mon anniversaire, il choisit toujours les plus belles choses! Le reste j'ai choisi avec ma mère, et je suis très heureux de la robe que mon copain a voulu me l'acheter quand il était à 180 $ et je pensais que c'était beaucoup trop cher, et ce week-end ma mère et je l'ai eu en vente pour environ 70 $! Et la chemise rayée son troisième et j'ai eu pour environ $ 11 au lieu de la somme initiale de 45! J'ai été très heureux avec nos offres. Quoi qu'il en soit, il ya tous mes nouveaux vêtements! Je suis très heureux d'avoir quelques nouvelles choses à faire avec de nouvelles tenues!

My New J.Crew Bracelet

I have often been asked to show my purchases, but sadly I do not make them very often... However as my birthday is this month I will now have new items to share!  I went shopping with my Nana this weekend and when we went to J.Crew I mentioned how I had been wanting this bracelet for a while and she said that I could have it for my birthday!  I am so happy to have it as it had sold out online and could not believe that they had it in the store, J.Crew has very good sales but the items I truly covet always sell out!  My birthday is not till the 28th so I may not have more to share for a while, but tell me if you want to keep seeing my new items!

J'ai souvent été demandé de montrer mes achats, mais malheureusement je ne les font pas très souvent ... Cependant, comme mon anniversaire est ce mois-ci je vais avoir de nouveaux éléments à partager! J'ai fait du shopping avec ma grand-mère ce week-end et quand nous sommes allés à J.Crew je l'ai mentionné combien j'avais manqué ce bracelet pendant un certain temps et elle m'a dit que je pouvais l'avoir pour mon anniversaire! Je suis si heureux de l'avoir comme il l'avait vendu en ligne et ne pouvait pas croire qu'on l'avait dans le magasin, J.Crew a de très bonnes ventes, mais les articles que j'ai vraiment convoitent toujours sold out! Mon anniversaire n'est pas au 28 donc je ne peut pas avoir plus de partager pendant un certain temps, mais dites-moi si vous voulez continuer à voir mes nouveaux articles!

Cream Luggage...

One of the reasons I love blogging is because I get to indulge in my, often times, impractical interests.  And while obviously cream colored luggage that one can not roll through the airport it at the top of the impractical list.  Despite all of that, I love this luggage.  It is so lovely and reminds me of the luggage used during the glamorous days of travel...

Une des raisons pour lesquelles j'aime le blogging est parce que je reçois de se livrer à mes, souvent, les intérêts impraticables. Et tandis que la crème bagages évidemment de couleur que l'on ne peut pas rouler à travers l'aéroport, il en haut de la liste impraticable. Malgré tout cela, j'aime ce bagage. Il est si belle et me rappelle des bagages utilisés pendant les jours de voyage glamour...

What I Would Wear To: Saint-Tropez

One of my lovely readers requested that I create an outfit to wear to Saint Tropez.  This was a really fun one for me as I would have never thought of Saint Tropez.  At first I was lost at where to start, but then I remembered the Joseph Altuzarra for J.Crew collection that was inspired by Bridgitte Bardot in Saint Tropez.  I chose my favorite dress from the collection and paired it with a wicker Hermès Kelly handbag, an Hermès scarf I would wear as a headband and a vintage Chanel charm bracelet.  Even though Saint Tropez is known for it's beaches, I wanted my dream outfit to still be chic and pulled together.  Please leave any requests in the comments below!  The requests are my favorite to do!

Un de mes lecteurs belles demandé que je créer une tenue à porter à Saint-Tropez. Ce fut un très amusant pour moi car je n'aurais jamais pensé de Saint-Tropez. Au début, j'étais perdu à par où commencer, mais je me rappelai alors l'Altuzarra Joseph pour la collecte de J.Crew qui a été inspiré par Bridgitte Bardot à Saint Tropez. J'ai choisi ma robe préférée de la collection et jumelé avec un sac à main en osier Hermès Kelly, un foulard Hermès je porterais comme un bandeau et un bracelet vintage Chanel. Même si Saint-Tropez est connue pour ses plages, je voulais ma tenue rêve de toujours être chic et élégante. S'il vous plaît laissez toutes les demandes dans les commentaires ci-dessous! Les demandes sont mes préférés à faire!

Brigitte Bardot...

I have thought of one slight way to improve the Altuzarra for J.Crew collection, from yesterday's post, with Brigitte Bardot inspired hair and make-up.  Messy hair and sultry make-up with the classic collection would be perfection! 

J'ai pensé à une façon légère d'améliorer la Altuzarra pour la collecte de J.Crew, du post d'hier, avec Brigitte Bardot cheveux d'inspiration et de maquillage. Cheveux en désordre et sensuelle maquillage avec la collection classique serait la perfection!

Altuzarra For J.Crew

The new Joseph Altuzarra for J.Crew collection was released today and when I saw the clothes sans model yesterday I thought the collection looked like and average J.Crew collection.  However once I saw the collection worn and styled I saw the potential.  The collection, which was inspired by Brigette Bardot, has easy pieces to fit in to your wardrobe and when styled properly is sexy and chic.  These pictures are of my favorite looks, but there is also a perfect gingham dress in the collection.  The prices are a little expensive so I hope they will end up on sale eventually, but I doubt they will...

Le nouveau Joseph Altuzarra pour J.Crew collection a été publié aujourd'hui et quand j'ai vu le modèle des vêtements sans hier, j'ai pensé que la collecte et la collecte ressemblait J.Crew moyenne. Cependant, une fois que j'ai vu la collection portés et de style, j'ai vu le potentiel. La collection, qui a été inspiré par Brigitte Bardot, a des pièces faciles à intégrer dans votre garde-robe et quand style est bien sexy et chic. Ces photos sont de mes looks préférés, mais il ya aussi une robe vichy parfaite dans la collection. My J.Crew Wish List

I will be going shopping for a Valentine's present this weekend and will of course be stopping by J. Crew!  I would love to add all of these items to my wardrobe, especially the shoes!  I have been searching high and low for a black leather kitten heel and while this heel is a little higher than desired I would still love to have them.  And good news for everyone!  The Poppy King for J. Crew lipstick is in stock once again.  And the gold bracelet would be a nice change from my usual pearls.  Sadly for me I am saving all of my money for when I transfer to a four year university and will just have to admire these items from a far!  Have a fantastic weekend!

Je vais aller magasiner pour une Saint-Valentin présente ce week-end et sera bien sûr l'arrêt par J. Crew! J'aimerais ajouter tous ces éléments à ma garde-robe, en particulier les chaussures! J'ai été chercher haut et bas pour un talon en cuir noir chaton et tout ce talon est un peu plus élevé que désiré, je serait toujours heureux de les avoir. Et de bonnes nouvelles pour tout le monde! Le roi de pavot rouge à lèvres J. Crew est en stock une fois de plus. Et le bracelet en or serait un changement agréable de mes perles habituelles. Malheureusement pour moi, je fais des économies tout mon argent pour quand je transférer à une université de quatre ans et n'aurez plus qu'à admirer ces articles à partir d'un jour! Avoir un week-end fantastique!

Fall Is Frantic

I apologize for my complete lack of posts for the last week; between midterms and work I have just been too busy!  So busy that the only thoughts I have had on fashion and beauty are ballet flats and chignons that require almost no efforts before rushing out the door.  Some of you asked for an update on my last post, and the J. Crew dress came today and fit perfectly!  I was nervous as strapless dresses have to fit perfectly, but I got very lucky and can not wait to wear it as the weather is strangely hot where I live.

I just ordered this dress from J. Crew yesterday, I really like how simple and classic it is.  And the corseted bodice looks really nice when you zoom in on the website.  What do you think? Do you like it?

Ballerina Style Once Again

With the weather cooling down I have been drawn back to the lovely pictures of the Russian ballerina's in J. Crew's September catalog  From Russia With Love which I featured previously.  The warm sweaters sound very appealing for the cold mornings we've been having lately and the many cold days to come.  Not to mention, I am favoring the ballerina inspired convenience of hair pulled back into chignons, for windy days, soft leather ballet flats, and pretty ribbon details to  dress up the simpler sweaters.

Poppy King For J. Crew

The internet has been buzzing about the new Poppy King for J. Crew lipstick and I have to say I agree with the hype.  This red coral combination is exactly the kind of lipstick I like, a casual color that is strong enough to require very little effort with the rest of your make-up.  With this color a natural eye and a little peach blush is all you need to look pulled together.  These J. Crew items will go perfectly with this shade of lipstick and are great pieces to add to your fall wardrobe.  The color is sold out so keep your eyes open in case they get more in stock, I know I will be! 

The Perfect Pumps

With fall right around the corner it is time to start adjusting to the colder weather that is coming our way.  As I talked about in a previous post, I want to wear tights with my dresses and skirts come fall and I will need to trade my open toed sling backs for closed toe pumps.  I love the J. Crew Mona pumps, they come in an array of colors and materials such as leather, suede, satin and more.  I prefer these lighter colored shades but they come in black, red, blue and almost any other color.  These classic pumps shown above are made of Italian leather and suede in Italy.  The leather pair will mold themselves to your foot after a few wears making them even better.  These chic classic heels will take you from season to season in style.

I am sure there is no prettier combination than J. Crew cashmere sweaters and ballerinas, well at least in my opinion.  These photographs from J. Crew's spread From Russia With Love for their new fall catalog were taken at the Mariinsky and Yakobson dance school in Saint Petersburgh, Russia.  I think the pastel tutus and ribbons are the perfect backdrop for the gorgeous cashmere sweaters.  These pictures go perfectly with my previous post about my current fall desires.  You can see that ballerina inspired post here.

My Pretty Dress

I own this lovely J Crew dress and it's even prettier  in person.  The fabric is very soft and there is a very nice lining which seems to be under appreciated these days.  My favorite part is the bow.
