I have another gift guide to help finish with your last minute shopping!  One gift I love to give and receive is a book.  There are books on every subject for every interest and they are always appreciated and show how well you know a person such as Christian Dior's Little Dictionary of Fashion, which I reviewed here.  Perfume, while a popular gift, can be a tricky one to give.  However you probably know your loved one's favorite fragrance, so why not get a matching item she wouldn't normally splurge on such as Victor &  Rolf's Flowerbomb bath beads or their fantastic new candle!  A lovely picture frame with a sentimental picture in it is always a lovely gift, and every Marchesa fan will adore the one above.  And if you really can not think of a specific gift, then luxury is always appreciated.  Pick a fabulous pair of heels or stunning jewelry.  Hope you find everything you are looking for this season!

A Little Sparkle

While sequin embellished dresses are lovely, such as the stunning Elie Saab dresses above, I personally don't know if I would feel comfortable wearing one.  So for those of you like me, I have the solution for adding a little sparkle to your holiday party outfits.  Add a glittering pair of pumps or an embellished clutch to your pretty party dresses for a little extra sparkle without being over the top.  I hope you are all having a lovely holiday season!

Alors que les robes de paillettes embelli sont belles, comme les robes superbes Elie Saab-dessus, personnellement, je ne sais pas si je serais à l'aise l'un portant. Donc, pour ceux d'entre vous, comme moi, j'ai la solution pour ajouter un peu d'éclat à vos tenues de fête de vacances. Ajoutez une paire de pompes ou scintillante d'un embrayage embelli à votre robes de soirée jolie pour un peu d'éclat supplémentaire sans être sur le dessus. J'espère que vous êtes tous d'avoir une saison de belles vacances!

Fall Wardrobe Desires: Muted Colors

I have a new series!  It is called Fall Wardrobe Desires, starting now I will begin doing it with every season.  Right now I am really looking forward to adding neutral muted colors to my fall wardrobe, they match everything and are very pretty.  As much as I love dresses, sometimes it is too cold and one must be practical. I love this elegant silk crepe de chine See by Chloe blouse and what I am sure is a very soft and warm cashmere and silk blend sweater by Miu Miu which I would pair with a dark jean in either a bootleg or a skinny cut for wearing with flat riding boots.  This classic Mulberry bag can hold everything I need when I am at school and this Lanvin purse is so feminine and perfect for when I want to carry something a little lighter.  I fell in love with these suede Jimmy Choo heels all though they can not be worn in the rain, but these patent leather Jimmy Choo flats can.  I would love to mix and match all of these items and I hope to acquire some similar pieces this fall.

What I Would Wear To: Casablanca

My last two destinations in my What I Would Wear To series were both major European cities, so I thought I would try a more exotic locale for my third.  When I saw this Anna Sui dress it reminded me of the lavish Casablanca Morroco, which I would accessorize with gold Jimmy Choo's and gold and jade jewels.  And while this outfit is not practical for sight seeing, it would be lovely for dinner out as long as one covered their shoulders.

What I Would Wear To: Paris

For the second installment of my new series What I Would Wear To, I created what I would ideally wear to the city I most covet to visit, Paris.  I would love to go during the Spring when the trees and flowers are in bloom and the weather is warm enough to wear this adorable Nina Ricci dress.  I especially like the light pink color of the dress and would pair it with these beige Jimmy Choo slingbacks, Majolie pink opal earrings, and of course an iconic french Chanel handbag. 

White and Gold

I really like this photo of Emma Watson, I think it is a nice change from the way she usually looks in Harry Potter, and I think the white dress goes beautifully with the gold sofa.

Easy Essentials

Every woman needs a few classic and easy pieces in her wardrobe: a tailored shirt dress that is easy to throw on, a large structured handbag that can carry everything you need, a comfortable pair of kitten heels in a color you can wear with everything, and simple jewelry pieces such as a pair of pearl studs. And don't forget the sun glasses in a classic shape.

The dress is Halston Heritage, the purse is an Hermes Birkin Bag, the shoes are Jimmy Choo, the sunglasses are Ray Ban, and the jewelry is Tiffany and Co.
